monkey business

Yesterday, I got to go on a field trip with Sophia. We went to see the play, Junie B. Jones Monkey Business. We had a lot of fun! We had seen this play before at the children's theatre, but this version was much more professional. We had great seats and I only had to leave once during the production to take someone to the bathroom. :)

This is Sophia with a little boy from her class who has a crush on her. Her teacher tells me that he is usally very rough with the other kids, but not Sophia. He caters to her every whim. She has never even mentioned him before and didn't seem to notice all of the attention he paid her yesterday.

Here is a sad looking self portrait. Another blogger has said that she always has to take pictures of herself to document that she was actually there. (that was major paraphrasing) I liked that. I am always the one taking the pictures and I really don't like having my picture taken, but I want my kids to know that I was there. :)
