First Day of School

My big 5th grader! Here in TX, the 5th and 6th graders are at their own school. She has to ride the bus, have a locker and dress out for gym. I was more nervous about her going to school this morning than for Sophia to start Kindergarden! She was so excited and didn't seem nervous at all. I can't wait to see how her day went.

These two couldn't wait to get to school! Noah is in 2nd grade and Sophia started Kindergarden. And, yes, there were a few sniffles (from Mom), but everything went well this morning.

Sophia insisted that she have curly hair for school, so we did rag curlers last night. They are so easy and aren't painful to sleep on. (Did anyone else have to wear pink sponge curlers???) She has such straight, fine hair that doesn't hold curl very well. It was a little curly this morning, but I'm sure most of it will be gone by the time she gets home this afternoon.

  2. I was just going to comment on how big your kids are and then I saw that Ruth already did. It's like we're bffs or something. Anyway, your kids are adorable and so grown up. I'm pretty sure the last time I saw them, Sophia was just a baby.

  3. The girls have grown up and are beautiful. Noah looks like a little man. How tall is he now? I did not see any pictures of the little one. You should post a family picture. I hope you had a great summer. We sure did and are happy to be back to school/work. Cool stuff you are selling. Let me know when you are having a great sale on the coverwear again. Tell the kids the Cooks say "Hi".

  6. I can't believe that little blond girl is in school. They all looked so cute.....and happy. I will have to try those rag curlers on Samantha. Too much fun. By the way I love your blog spot. I just started mine and it is quite pathetic at the moment. Definitely needs lot of work. :)

  8. What cute children. You can tell they must be related to their Uncle Russ. He too is a real beauty. Utah is calling, will you heed the call? See you soon.
